Compatibility

We recommend changing the E-Gen air filters every three months. The air filter can be replaced by a suitably competent person. Contact your local CranePower distributor or service agent for replacement air filters.

Requirements

• Replacement air filters
• #2 Phillips-head screwdriver
• E-Gen latch key

Intake air filter(s)

1. On the control panel side (front) of the unit, open the front door panel by inserting the key into the latches and unlocking, depressing the latch buttons to release and lifting up.

   

2. Remove the front panel by inserting the key into the latches and unlocking, then depressing the latch buttons to release. Keep a hold of the rear panel as it fully detaches from the chassis, lifting to remove.

   

3. Identify the filter vent(s). Locate and loosen the four (4) Phillips-head screws securing each filter vent, then carefully lift out both the filter vent and the filter.

   

4. Remove the old filter(s) from the vent frame(s).

   

5. Insert the new filter(s) into the vent frame(s) with the airflow arrow pointing inwards.

   

6. Reinstall the filter(s) and vent(s), fastening the four (4) Phillips-head screws securing each filter vent.

   

7. Reinstall the front panel, locking the latches using the key.

8. Close the front door panel, locking the latches using the key.

Exhaust air filter(s)

1. On the connection side (rear) of the unit, remove the rear panel by inserting the key into the latches and unlocking, then depressing the latch buttons to release. Keep a hold of the rear panel as it fully detaches from the chassis, lifting to remove.

   

2. Identify the filter vent(s). Locate and loosen the four (4) Phillips-head screws securing each filter vent, then carefully lift out both the filter vent and the filter.

   

3. Remove the old filter(s) from the vent frame(s).
