To commission your E-Gen after receiving it from CranePower via land or sea freight, you must install the Manual Service Disconnect (MSD) fuse(s) and power test the unit. It’s important to review all steps before interacting with the unit in anyway, to ensure that your E-Gen is commissioned correctly.
Locate the provided MSD fuse(s):

On the connection side (rear) of the unit, press the Emergency Stop Button to engage.

Remove the rear panel by inserting the key into the latches and unlocking, then depressing the latch buttons to release.
Keep a hold of the rear panel as it fully detaches from the chassis, lifting to remove.
Identify the filter vent to gain access to the MSD fuse holders:

Locate and loosen the four (4) Phillips-head screws securing the air vent, then carefully lift out both the air vent and the air filter.
Install the MSD fuse(s) into the MSD fuse holder(s) on the Battery Management System (BMS):

Reinstall the air filter and vent, securing the four (4) Phillips-head screws, and reattach the rear panel.
On the connection side (rear) of the unit, disengage the Emergency Stop Button by turning the yellow ring clockwise until it stops and then release.
On the control panel side (front) of the unit, open the front door panel by inserting the key into the latches and unlocking, then depressing the latch buttons to release.
Lift the front door panel to gain access to the front panel, which contains the control panel switch, control panel, and MCCB switch.

Turn the Control Power switch to ON (I).

On the Control Panel, tap the Settings icon on the tool bar and input the following settings. This ensures that the input current will not trip any current limited supply in the next step.
Connect a single-phase or three-phase input cable and turn on the supply.

Confirm that the battery is charging by checking that input power/voltage is displayed on the control panel, and that current is flowing from the input to the battery.
On the front panel, locate and remove the three (3) M5 Dome bolts on the left, then swing to open.

Check that each inverter module displays the power LEDs on and that there is no red fault LEDs illuminated.
