The user menu is the entry point for everything tied to your individual account: theme preference, alert delivery toggle, and signing out. It is a lightweight menu — most account-level settings (password, name, role) are managed elsewhere.

Opening the user menu

Click the user chip in the top-right of the top bar (the orange circle with your initial, followed by your display name). The menu opens directly below the chip.

Menu items

Item What it does
Display name + email (header) Read-only. Confirms which account you are signed into. To change your display name, contact an Owner Admin.
Dark Mode Toggles between light and dark themes for your browser only. The setting is per-browser and persists across sessions on the same browser profile.
Alerts Active (toggle) Master switch for alert delivery (email, etc.). When off, you remain subscribed to alerts but stop receiving notifications. The same toggle is mirrored on the My Alerts page.
Sign Out Ends your session in the current browser and returns you to the Logging In screen.
